Waterproof nylon catalyst, also known as active catalyst or catalytic active agent, is a chemical additive, usually added to the ink, can accelerate the chemical reaction and improve physical properties, while improving the fluidity and stability of the ink in the printing process. The main function of the catalyst is to accelerate the ink drying process, reduce the viscosity and surface tension of the ink, and improve the ink adhesion and fluidity. At the same time, it can also improve the quality of ink and printing effect, improve production efficiency and printing quality.
Waterproof nylon catalyst is a kind of material which can change monomer or oligomer into linear polymer or network polymer. When adding the catalyst, the correct operation method is: the component of each addition does not exceed 2%, if more than this amount, you need to first adjust the catalyst and ink, and then add it in a 2% proportion, and so on. Otherwise, it may accelerate ink clumping. After adding the catalyst, the ink must be used up within 8 hours, otherwise the ink may cause deterioration and cannot be used normally. (such as: freezing, slag, hardening, cross-linking curing fluidity is very poor).
Waterproof nylon catalyst has an important impact on ink quality and printing effect, and its addition amount, type, quality and other factors determine the drying rate and drying degree of ink, which affects the viscosity, flow and adhesion of ink. Too much or too little added amount will affect the quality of ink and printing effect, therefore, it is necessary to scientifically control the content of catalyst according to the specific situation.
Matters needing attention:
A. Its flammable materials, should be away from open flame and heat source.
B. The surface of the adhesive material shall be decontaminated and dried.
C. Wear rubber gloves when using, and keep the operation site ventilated.
D. The equipment used in operation must be dry and clean. After opening the bottle of the glue liquid, it should be immediately sealed and moistureproof, and avoid contact with air, water, acid, alkali, amine and alcohol to prevent failure.
