PU Anti-migration paste is a crucial product in textile fabric printing, primarily designed to alleviate color sublimation and prevent the base color from migrating to the printing surface. It controls pigment permeability, ensuring it forms a film solely on the textile surface, thus preventing sublimation reactions with the fiber. This paste enhances gum paste stability, preventing decomposition under high temperatures, maintaining printing pattern clarity and stability. Moreover, it improves printing pattern adhesion, ensuring durability. While not directly preventing sublimation during printing, it slows down the process, preserving printing color for an extended period.

PU Anti-migration paste is mainly used for textile fabric printing, and its main function is to alleviate color sublimation and prevent the base color from migrating to the printing surface. Specifically, it can control the permeability of the pigment, so that the pigment only forms a film on the textile surface, effectively preventing the sublimation reaction between the pigment and the fiber. In addition, it can increase the stability of the gum paste, prevent the gum paste from decomposing and failing under high temperature conditions, and maintain the stability and clarity of the printing pattern. At the same time, it can also improve the adhesion of the printing pattern, making the printing more solid and durable. Although it can not directly prevent sublimation when printing, but can slow down the time of sublimation, so as to maintain the color of printing for a long time.

PU Anti-migration Paste

The steps for using PU Anti-migration paste are as follows:

A、 According to different patterns and fabrics to choose the appropriate mesh screen, general cotton printed twice, each scraping two knives. If printed on high elasticity fabrics, it is necessary to use transparent pulp for priming twice, and then cover the surface twice after mixing evenly with white glue pulp and transparent pulp for color mixing to achieve the desired effect.

B、In the printing process, first print a layer of priming adhesive on the fabric to be sublimated, and then print other colors, so as to prevent decolorization. Similarly, print a layer of anti-sublimation paste on the sublimation fabric first for priming, and then repeat the paste for other colors.

C、After printing, it must be baked for 2-3 minutes at 140-150 degrees Celsius in the baking channel (dryer), or pressed with a press machine, with the temperature controlled at 140-150 degrees Celsius for 10-15 seconds.

D、The recommended color mixing ratio is about 30% for white glue pulp, 70% for transparent pulp, and the color variety is generally controlled within 5%.

Note: Before conducting the test, make sure the printing part is completely dry so as not to affect the test effect.

Preservation method of anti-sublimation adhesive paste:

A、Note that the natural drying time is affected by the temperature and air humidity; it can be stored for more than one year in airtight storage at room temperature. If stored in a warehouse, it should be kept in a cool, dry and ventilated environment.

B、Ensure that the mastic is stored in an airtight container to prevent air and moisture from entering.

C、Prevent the mastic from being exposed to direct sunlight, as high temperatures may lead to drying and deterioration of the mastic; try to store the mastic in a stable temperature environment to avoid extreme temperature changes that may affect its viscosity and adhesive properties.

D、Try to store the mastic vertically to prevent it from pooling at the bottom or becoming uneven; if the mastic is prone to delamination or thickening, the container should be stirred gently on a regular basis to ensure even mixing.

E、Placing a desiccant, such as silicone, in the mastic container can help absorb moisture and maintain the quality of the mastic.
